Through intimate interviews and poignant conversations, Embodied blurs the lines between “experts” and “everyday people” to create an open space for breaking rules and building new connections.

The show seeks to grow the traditional public radio audience by adding people, voices, and perspectives from a new generation of listeners — folks who are looking for programming that reflects the diverse and dynamic communities they are a part of.

Embodied's target audience is people 18-45 who are invested in thinking critically about their bodies and relationships. The majority of the guests on the show identify as non-white, and about 80% identify as women, nonbinary or gender fluid.
