A politician's promise is only as strong as the country's demand for that promise to be kept.
During the 2008 Presidential campaign John McCain and Barack Obama are leaping from state to state making one promise after another. As part of PRX's election coverage we have commissioned a series of pieces that attempt to hold the candidates to their word by using their words. This series is available free to PRX stations.

As part of our election coverage we asked eight producers to apply their radio skills to the promises coming from the candidates. The result? A series of four-minute Promise Commentaries perfect for air around the election.
