KDNK went on the air April 15, 1983 with The Beatles tune "They Say It's Your Birthday". The rest is history: a series of talented DJs, dedicated board members, and a growing loyal audience has kept KDNK alive and well in Colorado's Roaring Fork Valley. KDNK's mission to inform and entertain our listeners with programming designed and created by local folks has held strong all these years. KDNK continues to dazzle, entertain and inform with dozens of creative characters.
