Sounds of the Season- 2023

Sounds of the Season, 24 hours of holiday Jazz, featuring old favorites (Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Ella Fitzgerald, etc.), current stars (Samara Joy, Wynton Marsalis, George Gee), and the recently departed (Tony Bennett, Joey DeFrancesco, Chick Corea). Also included are readings of the classic,’Twas the Night Before Christmas, by Louis Armstrong and the late southern California jazz radio personality Chuck Niles, and spoken word rarities by legendary disc jockey Frank Evens and actor-singer-songwriter-pianist Bobby Troup.
