Media for the Public Good, Inc. - OutCasting Media

Media for the Public Good, Inc. (MFPG), produces OutCasting, public radio's LGBTQ youth program.  OutCasting is currently heard on more than 50 public radio stations affiliated with the Pacifica Radio Network and now offers the program to stations via PRX.  There are two components - full broadcasts episodes of OutCasting (29:00) and shorter, variable length pieces in a series called OutCasting Overtime, which can be used as dropins.  Both are released monthly on or before the first of the month.

The Advocate: "In-depth, well researched, and punchy in the right ways... NPR-level production values....  What makes all this remarkable is that most of the people working on the show... are barely old enough to drive."

GLAAD: "... some of the most honest and accurate representations of LGBT and allied youth in the media"

MFPG formerly owned WDFH FM 90.3, Westchester Public Radio, in NYC's northern suburbs.
