Audio diaries from three teenage girls in foster care
These are the first three pieces in the ongoing youth radio project at North Country Public Radio. Teens use field kits to document their lives and tell a story. These first three stories deal with the complex issues of growing up in troubled families, life in foster care, becoming independent very young in life, and coping with issues of self-injury, or cutting.
The stories were first broadcast on North Country Public Radio in June 2005.
