Jazz Connections is a thematic radio show highlighting Jazz music throughout its history, and in its many forms. Hosted by longtime jazz radio host Larry Slater, Jazz Connections takes a unique perspective on this improvised music.

Aiming to entertain as well as educate, Jazz Connections will expose your listeners to aspects of the music and its creators that is rarely heard today. Shows have included artist profiles, instrument profiles (vibes and violins, history of the saxophone), jazz takes on other musical formats, and Jazz from Around the World.

Jazz Connections' goal is to introduce jazz to novice audiences, and provide the jazz audience with new and unique ways to explore this American Art Form. Upcoming shows include artist profiles, jazz takes on other musical idioms, and jazz from around the world.
