The Rhythm Atlas - a weekly program hosted by Denis McGilvray - explores the vast array of folk, roots, and fusion musical styles that can be heard all over the globe, from Afrobeat to Zouk and beyond.
The Rhythm Atlas world music program is hosted and produced by Denis McGilvray through Public Radio Tulsa. Each week, you'll hear an eclectic mix of global roots, folk, and fusion music. Some special episodes are also focused around a particular theme or holiday. The Rhythm Atlas airs on its home station - KWGS 89.5 FM / Public Radio Tulsa - on Sunday nights at 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. (Central Time, USA) and streaming live at PublicRadioTulsa.org online. The program is typically uploaded to PRX each Monday morning, aimed for airing from that Monday to the following Sunday.
