The Rhythm Atlas, a weekly program hosted by Denis McGilvray, explores the vast array of folks, roots, and fusion musical styles that can be heard all over the globe, from Afrobeat to Zouk. New episodes uploaded to PRX each Friday.
The Rhythm Atlas world music program is hosted and produced by Denis McGilvray in the studios of Public Radio Tulsa. Each week, you'll hear an eclectic mix of global roots, folk, and fusion music. Some special episodes are also focused around a particular theme or holiday. The Rhythm Atlas airs on its home station - KWGS 89.5 FM / Public Radio Tulsa - on Sunday nights at 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. (Central Time, USA) and streaming live at PublicRadioTulsa.org online. The program is uploaded to PRX each Friday, generally aimed for airing from the following Saturday-Friday.
