John C. Brice graduated from the University of Richmond in 1984 with Bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Philosophy. He received his Juris Doctorate in 1987 from Case Western Reserve School of Law. He studied foreign policy at American University, and has studied Mandarin Chinese and conducted an independent study in Political Science at the Suzhou University in mainland China.
