Diploma en Mano is a series of feature stories and talk shows produced by Radio Bilingue on educational issues contributing to the school success or failure of Latino students in the United States. The series is part of American Graduate – Let’s Make It Happen! – a public media initiative to address the drop-out crisis, supported by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.

“Diploma en Mano 2013” or “Diploma in Hand 2013” is a special one-year national Spanish-language radio series on educational issues contributing to the school success or failure of Latino students in the United States. Monthly national talk shows with listener call-in participation and twice-monthly in-depth feature reports examine current educational factors beginning at a very early age for young people inside their schools, communities and homes that contribute to whether they will thrive academically, complete high school, and be prepared for college and other positive life options. The series is part of American Graduate – Let’s Make It Happen! – a public media initiative to address the drop-out crisis, supported by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
