The Emotion Roadmap to Inspired Performance

Have you ever found yourself stuck, uncertain what to do? Smart people, excellent leaders and critical thinkers, effective managers and problem solvers, all often become stuck when something emotional is happening either to them or to someone they care about, or have to work with. Stop being a victim to how you feel! Learn how the Emotion Roadmap can help you take control. Learn how to create the feelings you want and need both at work and at home.

Content comes from my radio show where I teach listeners strategies for managing their own emotions and their emotional relationships with others. Specific pieces come from a variety of areas including family, business, military, government, schools and religion.

Work related interviews with CEOs, other senior leaders, and consultants talking about topics such as putting employees first and customers second, helping small business owners with enterprise risk management, and helping people to become better at networking, women in leadership, and emotional intelligence in schools and religious organizations.

Home issues include work life balance, raising children, marital relations, aging parents, bcoming a grandparent, and dealing with the loss of loved ones.

There are also miscellaneous topics such as an interview with the Ambassador from Chile talking about the rescued miners in 2010, or the interviews with the Red Sox play by play announcer Dave O'Brien talking about this year's team (2011), a psychologist doing innovative work with returning veterans who have post traumatic stress syndrome, and a veteran and his spouse discussing support for our military members and families during holiday season.

Finally there are shows where I talk about areas of emotional intelligence I have personally navigated on my own or with others. These include what I told all three of my daughters regarding marriage, or about a life lesson I learned about taking 100% responsibility when it is simply unacceptable to fail, and a number of stories about the coaching I have provided executives, government elected representatives and others.

If a topic interests you and it does not appear on my play list please contact me directly and I will upload that piece. Hide full description
