AMINA?S STORY: Three years ago Amina Massood Janjua prepared breakfast for her husband, a well-liked businessman who ran a college in Rawalpindi in Pakistan. She kissed him goodbye?.and she never saw him again. He became one of the many people who have disappeared in Pakistan. Amina tells Jonathan about her efforts to find her husband.

DISAPPEARED IN PAKISTAN: After the attacks on 9/11, the U.S. government recruited Pakistan as an ally in an efforts to round-up suspected terrorists. Since that time, Sohail Akbar Warraich of Amnesty International says hundreds, possibly thousands of people have been ?disappeared?.

TURKISH ?SERFS? TAKE ON THEIR AGA: Dorian Jones reports how Turkish villagers are taking their local feudal lord, or Aga, to court to fight against his total control over their work and their property.

THE END OF THE CAMBODIAN SWEAT SHOP: The garment industry is one of Cambodia?s leading export sectors, but workers often have to work long hours for little pay. Since 2001, a project has been working to improve working conditions in the sector. (4:00)

RIGHT TO BE UNEMPLOYED: Jonathan talks to Dutchman Gert Jan (KHEHRT-YAN) van Beijnum (BYE-num). He?s 51 years old, lives in a squat in the city of Den Bosch (BOSS) and he hasn?t had a paying job for 29 years. But he says he does work: he writes and distributes a small, local newspaper. And because he feels he is useful, he has the right to be subsidized. 4:00

HOW TO GET RID OF THE OTHERS: A new satirical Danish film asks what would happen if a country got tired of its freeloaders and tax cheats who don?t make a contribution to society and rounded them all up. Producer Susan Stone spoke with director Anders Ronnov (RAHN-ahv) Klarlund and tells Jonathan why the film has a special insight about the country recently caught up in the cartoon controversy.
