We are on a road trip across Virginia

This Audio Journey series begins in a Virginia Indian Museum and ends in the Shenendoah Valley of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Our first Audio Journey in this series begins on the Pamunkey Museum on the Pamunkey Indian Reservation, along the river of the same name. Since the ice-age, people have lived along the diverse natural world of the Eastern seacoast of the United States. They were watching, when three merchant ships from London, explored the coast for a few weeks, before landed in the estuary of the James River on May 24, 1607.
