Several stories organized around the common theme of leaving something behind. They are all very ordinary, but each one leaves you with some intangible insight. The music is very effective.
Begins by presenting some of the biology behind our response to threatening situations. Includes several stories about people's various reactions to dangerous situations. Great storytelling and interesting science!

Review of John Perkins - Confessions of an Economic Hit Man (deleted)
Mr. Perkins presents a view of US foreign relations from the perspective of someone who was on the inside. He elaborates on the pattern of manipulation the US uses to bend developing nations to its will and create an empire through economic, rather than military, means. It may be tempting to dismiss him as "just" a conspiracy theorist, but all of his arguments seem to fit well with world events. Ultimately, I found this piece to be fascinating.
This piece presents the pretty far-out concept that our thoughts and emotions have a measureable effect on the physical world. It's a very beautiful idea, which promotes harmony with the physical world and each other. I don't personally believe the idea is scientifically sound, but I do appreciate the concepts expressed and I believe there should be programs exposing people to ideas which may not be readily accepted by the mainstream.
Very interesting. Presented at a level that is easily understandable and appealing. This piece deals not only with Einstein's science, but also his moral and ethical views.
