This is a graceful, lyrical piece about a small family living a quiet life along the Presumpscot River in southern Maine. I like the way it reveals their connection to the river slowly, like a lazy canoe trip down the river, taking in the scenes as they unfold.
A nice piece about the people behind a small American Legion post in Maine, and the challenges that face them. A few small editing glitches, but a lot of great interview material and terrific local voices.
