Review of Vinyl Cafe New Year's Resolutions (deleted)
People should hear this!
This is alot of fun. This is a New Year's program with great music and insights from Stuart that left me with happy in an odd way when I wasn't chuckling outloud.
This program includes so many of the things I love about public radio. It is unpredictable, insightful, humorous and made with care and pride.
This was a joy to listen to. It celebrates his music, personality and story while not glossing over the painful and troubling parts. The program was very well produced and the musical selections and editing were top-notch.
I sort of feel like I've picked up up Townes as he was thumbing for a ride after listening to this program. This had me hooked from the start as it set me on a Texas barstool and made me feel part of the scene the way only great radio can.
