For more than 40 years, KUT-FM has been enriching the lives of Central and West Texans with local and national programming that mirrors the unique nature of its audience. Austin is, after all, the "live music capitol of the world." KUT riffs on that note, with great music programming such as John Aielli's Eklektikos, Horizontes, Folkways and other local and live music programs. KUT also broadcasts news from National Public Radio, BBC and Public Radio International. KUT's award-winning local news programming launched in 2002, joining KUT's Latino USA, which is heard on more than 100 stations nationwide. For more information, go to www.KUT.org

"Two Guys on Your Head" is a short feature, produced at KUT Radio, that explores topics associated with the brain. UT Professors Dr. Art Markman and Dr. Bob Duke spend a lot of time thinking about why we do what we do and in this series they join KUT host Rebecca McInroy to answer questions like "How is the adolescent brain wired ?" "How does advertising work?" and "What impact does sleep, or lack thereof, have on our brains?" We would love to know what you think of the show, you can email us at twoguys@kut.org with comments, questions for the doctors, ideas, or just about anything.
