A project of Historic Takoma Inc, our mission is to build community and promote understanding using non-commercial radio.  We include individuals, groups, issues, stories, music and history overlooked or under-represented in mainstream media. We promote cooperation, tolerance, and dialogue.

Takoma Radio thanks hundreds of individuals, dozens of local businesses, The City of Takoma Park, the Takoma Foundation,  and others for continuing to support independent community-based radio.
