In collaboration with MIGIZI Communications, KFAI MinneCulture presents a series of short stories about the ever-changing urban Native American community in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Short stories inspired by MIGIZI's Legacy Radio Archive, 15 years of first-on-the-scene reporting dating back to 1977. Everything from the controversial Red Power Movements of the 1970s to the emergence of tribal water rights in the U.S. to re-covered recordings of national respected Indigenous artists, First Person Plural takes a look at Minneapolis's Indigenous presence through the lens of its historic past.
