The Untold Stories of Central Minnesota is a Minnesota Arts & Cultural Heritage Legacy funded program where your host Jeff Carmack brings listeners a series of features about the parts of our local central Minnesotan culture that may have been lost within the mist of history. Did you know that the Mayor of St. Martin, MN, served on the USS Essex during the Bay of Pigs Invasion then went on to be a NYPD Detective for over 30 years? Did you know that one of KVSC founding members from 1967 is actually Santa Claus? Did you know that there are hundreds of ghost towns in Minnesota? All these stories and more can be found right here! The Untold Stories of Central Minnesota is made possible through support from the Minnesota Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund.
