A two-part investigation into the state of assisted-living in Florida. Assisted-living facilities (or ALFs) house two of the state's most vulnerable populations: the elderly and the mentally ill. Florida was among the first states to regulate the ALF industry and to introduce a Residents' Bill of Rights. Now, with almost 3,000 homes in the state and tens of thousands of people living in assisted-living, a year-long investigation by the Miami Herald and WLRN has turned up at least 70 questionable deaths due to caretaker negligence in facilities that primarily care for the elderly. And our investigation found a litany of problems with facilities that cater to the mentally ill. Day One, "The Death of Aurora Navas," focuses on the questionable deaths. Day Two, "The Accidental Life of Cannon Point," focuses on the challenges faced by facilities that care for people with mental illness.

"Enzo possesses quite possibly the most acutely fine tuned pop aesthetic around." "Enzo's command of pop music of the last 40 years is unparalleled. Not only is his song selection always spot on and impeccable, but the songs flow in and out of each other with an effortless ease." "Enzo is a dj's dj." Enzo knows how difficult Monday mornings are to wake up to, that's why he keeps it simple by playing only the sweetest in indi/alternative/underground pop and rock from the 70's, 80's, 90's, 00's, and today. The Monday Morning Breakfast Blend w/Enzo is the aural equivalent of sending you off to work with the proverbial kiss on the forehead just like mom gave you as she handed you your bag lunch and scooted you off to school mouthing "Make me proud" as you looked back over your shoulder at her waving. (how's that for a warm fuzzy?) He (usually) keeps it easy for the first 40 minutes or so (to ease you into the week), and is usually rockin' it out the last 40 minutes or so (just in time for you to get your game face on to tackle the week ahead). The middle 40 is anybody's guess.
