These stories are taken from the program "After the Flood: New Conversations About Poverty" - a collaboration between WNPR, Connecticut Public Radio and WFCR in Amherst, Massachusetts.
We wanted to explore the many issues of poverty raised by Hurricane Katrina. Some stations had asked if they could use the features outside the hour-long program...so here they are.
