Despite high efficacy numbers and a growing body of research proving that the COVID-19 vaccines are safe, many American still remain skeptical. This series explores the reasons behind vaccine hesitancy both from the perspective of experts and those who are hesitant themselves.

This is a three-part series on vaccine hesitancy. Each episode in the series explores a different question surrounding vaccines.

The first episode "Trials and Tribulations" examines what information we need to make good decisions, and includes interviews with leading infectious disease specialist Dr. Joyce Sanchez, and health journalist and vaccine trial participant Garnet Henderson. The second episode "Shut Up And Listen" covers the intersection of vaccine history and systemic racism, and features interviews with Dr. Joyce Sanchez and Shelter in Place apprentice Sarai Waters. The final episode discusses the challenges of navigating misinformation.
