Morning Classics

Morning Classics is the only classical music program delivered via PRX Exchange that is designed specifically for morning drive time. It is produced by WMNR Fine Arts Radio in Monroe, Connecticut which has provided classical music since 1982.

Morning Classics offers a balanced variety of appropriate music and avoids movements, playing complete works. These hours are designed for all-music stations and have no optional news break at the top of the hour. This allows for the first work of the hour to engage your listeners and continue to offer them more of what they want to hear in the morning, great classical music!

The service is especially designed to help smaller public radio stations improve the quality of their morning programming since other file-based syndicated classical music programs are designed primarily for overnight use.

The evergreen hours of Morning Classics can be used for an unlimited time by all PRX affiliates at no additional cost. Hours of Morning Classics are continuously being produced and made available for stations to add to their libraries.
