NEW SEASON beginning April 14, 2023!

A new season of Carnegie Hall Live, a broadcast series featuring concert recordings captured live during the 22-23 season from New York City's world-famous concert hall, launches on April 14! The 13-part series begins with Carnegie's Opening Night Gala concert with The Philadelphia Orchestra and soloist Daniil Trifonov and continues with performances from some of the classical music world’s most esteemed artists.

Through March 31, 2023, you are still welcome to carry any of the broadcasts from the prior season listed below.

Highlights include:

- Marin Alsop leading the São Paulo Symphony Orchestra for its first-ever Carnegie Hall performance in a program including Rimsky-Korsakov’s Sheherazade and works by 20th-century Brazilian composer Heitor Villa-Lobos;

-the Los Angeles Philharmonic with Music and Artistic Director Gustavo Dudamel, in its first Carnegie Hall appearance in more than 30 years;

-pianist Mitsuko Uchida leading the Mahler Chamber Orchestra from the keyboard in two of Mozart's late piano concertos;

-the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra performing for the first time at Carnegie Hall since 1968 under the direction of Chief Conductor Susanna Mälkki;

-the Sphinx Virtuosi, a chamber orchestra featuring alumni of the prestigious Sphinx Competition, in a concert culminating the 25th anniversary year of the Sphinx Organization;

-Kirill Petrenko with the Berliner Philharmoniker, in his first Carnegie appearance as the orchestra’s Chief Conductor;

- Christian Thielemann with the Vienna Philharmonic;

-Franz Welser-Möst with The Cleveland Orchestra in Schubert's dramatic Mass No 6;
