Independent producer and voice actor Megan Sukys reads forgotten short stories that resonate with current events from the greatest writers in the Public Domain.

Like old shoes, short stories from great writers of the last century are often shoved into the back of the literary closet. Some of those stories are back there with good reason, they were mostly sketches preparing for a novel. But some stories maintain a timeless message, a resonance with the experiences of the 21st century person.

I search the public domain for short stories that deserve a contemporary listening and offer them to you. You may be surprised to find out how much the past has to tell us about the present.
