This special series is for Ohio stations.
What better way to celebrate the travel season than to air a radio features series on cultural travel in Ohio? Well, the Ohio Humanities Council has done just that with the Road Trip! radio series. Each feature takes listeners to a place in Ohio that is along one of the 11 free audio tours the Ohio Humanities Council is producing.

The 23 part series started the week of April 29 and runs for 23 weeks through travel season until Sept 30.

Each week a tour in a different part of the state is highlighted. There is an introduction to the series and two radio features for each of the 11 tours. The features are all under 4 minutes long and are designed to fit into stations’ magazine shows. Local underwriting can be sold around the series and CD sets of the 11 tours will be available for pledge premiums.

The tours and the radio features are being produced by some of Ohio’s best radio and video producers. Each tour has a different theme and together they help to paint a picture of Ohio’s fascinating history.
