This series explores the variety of rhythms and musical styles found in Latin Jazz.

Latin Jazz is a product of Afro-Cuban music and American jazz, however today , through its evolution it has changed, embracing a diversity of rhythms from Latin America; the Afro-Cuban traditions of Cuba, Afro-Rican from Puerto Rico, Afro-Brazilian from Brazil, Afro-Peruvian from Peru, Tango from Argentina and Flamenco from Spain, developing into a defined genre with a Pan-Americana flavor.
This series of Latin Perspective will explore the myriad of rhythms, musical styles
and forms found in this Pan Americana projection of Latin Jazz music of today..
