Host Martha Burk

Weekly 2 1/2 to 3 minute public affairs commentary on topics in the public debate, political issues, and how decisions in Washington and around the world affect ordinary citizens, often with an emphasis on women. Critical analysis that goes beyond the breaking news.

Equal Time with Martha Burk originates weekly from KSFR public radio in Santa Fe.

Host Martha Burk is a nationally recognized journalist and women's leader. She is Money Editor for Ms. Magazine, and her blog is frequently on the front page of The Huffington Post. Burk is also immediate past Chair of the National Council of Women's Organizations, the nation's oldest and largest coalition of women's groups.

Burk's commentary explores many topics on past progress, future change, and what it means for women and men -- as citizens, as voters, and as inhabitants of the world we live in and help to shape.

For those who are curious and who care about what's going on the the public debate (with no shouting) and issues/ what's at stake now and in the future.

Each commentary is two and one half to 3 minutes (02:30)
