Series produced by Mark Coles

The best new music releases and demos from around the planet, presented weekly from his garden shed by the award winning former BBC broadcaster Mark Coles.

After 25 years at the BBC ("Today", "World Of Music","The Strand"), the award winning British broadcaster Mark Coles goes back to basics for his new weekly programme, bringing listeners the best new music from around the planet...presented in wonderful informality from the shed at the bottom of his garden.
A unique show packed full of anecdote and humour, each week, Mark brings you his personal pick of the best new music from all over the world: from Lebanese punk and Chinese folktronica to African rock n roll...even the occasional Japanese recorder quartet.
Dont just take our word for it. This is what the musician and producer Brian Eno had to say: "I always hear something surprising and new. His intelligent, unpatronising embrace of global modern culture is the sort of thing Britain should be proud of."
