Sly Crooner

This unique series of original audio stories has often been described as "like Garrison Keillor for the martini set". Currently there are 57 half hour episodes which stand alone or can be coupled to fill a one hour time slot.

The action occurs in and around The Royal Palm Court Lounge of the Hotel Alto Nido in downtown Swanktown where "the women are exotic, the men are well-behaved at times and money is no object . . . because we have no money".

Narrated by the quirky, delicious and warmly amusing Sly Crooner these tales wryly limn the desperate, tragic and rich lives of main characters Mr. Lucky, the Mayor of Swanktown, Cosmo D. Gigolo poet and florist, Slo Kitty who tells fortunes in the lobby of the hotel and Dr. Beauregarde Peculiar, the loveless hotel physician.

Concocted by contemporary fabulist Geoffrey Leigh Tozer this series is all about illuminating the Swanktown motto; "living swank is the best revenge".
