David Bouchier is an award-winning weekly essayist for NPR member stations WSHU in Fairfield, CT, who also hosts a lively program of classical music and commentary called Sunday Matinee.
Since 1992, he has been producing his weekly radio essays for WSHU and for ten years contributed a humor column called "Out of Order" to the Long Island section of the Sunday New York Times. Both the radio essays and the columns have received Press Club awards for excellence.
David Bouchier has lectured widely, and is a regular instructor at the University of Iowa Summer Writing Festival.
