Often the broad term given to describe the latest evolution of Internet and web based communication social media enables users to rapidly connect and interact in a variety of different formats. Young adults, ages 18 to 29, are the most likely to use social media with a 2015 Pew Research poll showing that 90 Percent of them use social networking sites regularly. While being the first generation to grow up as digital natives, what a lot of young people don’t know is that when used intelligently, social media can be a tool used to benefit their future careers.
