In 2015, 1,100 standarbred mares will be foaling the next generation of racehorses. But what happens to these horses when their racing career is over? On option is New Vocations, a racehorse adoption program that transitions former racehorses into a new life.

Every year a huge swarm of dragonflies appear on the producer's farm. She goes in search of information on this behavior and finds out that, even though this insect has been around since before the dinosaurs, not much is really known about them.

Dragonflies might be the least understood insects on the planet. They have been called the Devils Darning Needles, Mule Killers and Snake Doctors. For an insect that has been arround since the before the dinosaurs roamed the earth, surprisingly little is actually known about them. Renee Wilde interviewed two Odonata experts in search of answer's behind an annual occurance on her farm that happens for two days around the end of summer, where hundreds of dragonflies swarm every night for two days, and then disappear.

Slow Flower Movement Changing the Floral Industry

In 1991, President George Herbert Walker Bush was looking for ways to stem the illegal drug trade in Colombia, by giving more incentives for legal trade. As a result, the 6 percent import duty on Colombian flowers disappeared - and over the next few years - so did over half of the U.S. flower farms. Colombia now makes up 80% of the flowers sold in the United States.
Today on County Lines Renee Wilde visits a grower in South Western Ohio who is part of the new Slow Flower movement in the U.S.
