Max Steiner is known as “the father of film music.” He wrote some of cinema’s earliest scores, earning 24 Oscar nominations. You’ll hear his themes from King Kong, Gone with the Wind, The Searchers, Adventures of Don Juan, The Treasure of the Sierra Madre, and Now, Voyager.
