Review of Mock Funding Credits

I'd like to hear this one on the air more than "very much." I want to hear that one high-voiced guy say most of it, then Michele Norris say the rest. This would blow America's mind. America needs its mind blown. That said, the piece has an element of navel-gazing. But what awkwardly realistic navels!

Review of Mock Funding Credits

Looking for a pledge drive moment of levity for your listeners and your colleagues?

This is it.

This brief spot adds perspective and tongue and cheek to Public Radio fundraising and Public Radio in general.

It's a great moment to inject when your pitching has become too serious, melodramatic or when you're on the verge of the dreaded afternoon lull.

Thank you. Thank you for this clever bit of writing poking fun at underwriting credits. Public Radio takes itself a bit too seriously -- just listen to the fund drives. This short piece, however, offers a great way for listeners and staff to giggle at our own expense. Thank you.

Thank you. This was a little treat. We'll take it for our next fundraiser. This kind of work could easily be integrated into live pitching. It's better when we beat people to it, and make fun of ourselves. - J.A.
