Review of Lili Day at the Farm

King of lonely and nastolgic. But also very endearing. The listener is increasingly drawn in thoughout the piece although the layers of sound do not necessarily increase. There are a few silences and over all it's pretty quiet, but I've listened to the whole thing twice and I think I'll go for a third.

Review of Lili Day at the Farm

Utterly charming. Requires and rewards both patience and attention. And when the cows finally do come home, answering the farmer's haunting call, the sounds of their hooves over the loose floorboards bring them out of the barn and straight into your living room. (note: this recording is binaural, so be sure to use headphones)

Review of Lili Day at the Farm

Lili Day at the farm features such great lines as “Goodbye pigs,” “he’s got a curly tail,” “look at the mama cows,” and the excellent “baby cows don’t wear diapers. ”You take a walk around a farm with two year-old Lili as your tour guide, and you really feel like you’re there. It also sort of makes you feel like a kid, in much the way playing with a little kid will always do. It’s very good-natured and joyful and it would be really interesting to hear this alongside some other more conventional children’s programming, which isn’t to say this one isn’t for adults, too.
