The Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs is an independent, nonprofit educational institution with no political agenda. Founded in 1914 by Andrew Carnegie, the Council takes a pluralist approach to ethics, and our vision is a world where considered ethical choices guide international and transnational behavior. Our educational mission is to be “the voice for ethics in international affairs.”

The Carnegie Ethics Studio leverages new technologies in service of the enduring values that have guided the Council. Recent products are designed for public radio, and are free, assuming the appropriate acknowledgement and notification. Products are either 90 seconds or 27:30 with a 30 second silent break at 15:00 minutes. Stations may broadcast the entire series, or choose individual episodes.

• “Global Ethics Corner” is a 90 second weekly production including a video. The format is to raise an interesting question, present some alternative views, and ask the listener to consider the implications. Available since October 2008, it can not only be used on the air but also featured on your website.

• “Advocates for Ethics in Business” is a 27:30 set of 13 programs. A unique series of interviews, it includes conversations with business, civil society, and academic leaders, who share innovative ideas, examine the role of business in society, and address the ethical considerations connected to conducting business globally.

• “Global Ethics Forum” is a 27:30 Lecture/Presentation Series of major speakers and panels convened at our facilities in NYC. Coming in the fall of 2009, it will feature 26 of the key issues and speakers during the 2009-2010 program year.
