KCRW is dedicated to supporting the work of independent contributors. That's why we created the Independent Producer Project, an incubator for innovative storytelling projects that cultivates work by new and emerging journalists.

KCRW's Independent Producer Project accepts multimedia and audio story pitches for a full spectrum of projects, from one-off features to long-term partnerships. We provide assistance with development and production to bring excellent storytelling to our KCRW audience on air and online. The stories we produce complement KCRW’s eclectic mix of news, music, arts and cultural programming, and air across our broadcast schedule during shows like Morning Edition, All Things Considered, Which Way, LA?, DnA, The Business, Good Food, and UnFictional.

To pitch your story idea, visit our website, or email us at ipp@kcrw.org.
