Israel Story is a radio initiative that introduces long-form non-fiction content about Israel. We began as a small podcast, meant for family and friends, but what followed exceeded our wildest dreams: Within a few months, the program was picked up by the Israeli national radio and became one of the country's most popular radio hours.
We have now begun producing hour-long shows in English as well. And, much like our radio role models at This American Life, every episode has a theme, and several stories that relate to the theme, in what we hope are non-intuitive ways. The stories range from the heartfelt to the hilarious, from the risqué through the informative to the outright bizarre.

Israel Story is a bi-weekly podcast, hosted by Mishy Harman and distributed by PRX, the Public Radio Exchange. It tells modern tales from an ancient land - the kind of stories you'd share with a friend over a plate of hummus on a Friday afternoon, or with your partner at the end of a long day. These are everyday stories, told by, and about, regular Israelis. The award-winning show is one of the most popular programs in Israel, where it is aired nationally, on prime-time. Available every-other Wednesday.
