Welcome to another season of melodically challenged! We are excited to launch another semester full of hour-long shows that feature the best contemporary poetry audio available from Fishouse Poems, the Academy of American Poets, Naxos Audio, and poets we have the privilege of recording ourselves. Each show also features new, exciting, copyright-free music from the Free Music Archive. All of our shows revolve around a theme: this semester we'll feature shows about National Parks, The West, Natural Disasters, Noses, and Poems from the Secret of Hoa Sen, a Vietnamese translation show, among others.

While we write and produce shows for the fall semester, we like to rebroadcast a series of our favorite shows from the past year under a similar theme. Because we are a nationally syndicated show we've decided to move it, move it move it! We’ll begin our journey with our Small Towns show, travel in every kind of vehicle around the world, then to space, then to the future and after that, it’s Bedtime. When we wake up, it will be our new season. Whew!

While we write and produce shows for the fall semester, we like to rebroadcast a series of our favorite shows from years past under a similar theme. Because we are a nationally syndicated show we've decided to travel around, and this year we focused on the big cities of Atlanta, New York, and Philadelphia.

Enjoy our favorite shows that aired in the fall of 2016 and the spring of 2017 while we create next season's shows. Because of the special elections happening throughout the country, we will begin by airing our shows featuring poems about the ideas that grip us in the news and in our personal lives. Although the themes are politically charged, our shows are not, and will never take sides or become caustic in any way, they simply consider healthcare, the environment, National Parks, Truth and Lies, and Peace from a poet's perspective. We hope you enjoy them!
