PBS’ mission is to create content that educates, informs and inspires. To do this, PBS offers programming that expands the minds of children, documentaries that open up new worlds, non-commercialized news programs that keep citizens informed on world events and cultures and programs that expose America to the worlds of music, theater, dance and art.

As a multi-platform provider, PBS has produced content-driven segments (2-4 minutes) in audio form to grow and further expand public media’s mission to educate, inform and inspire all Americans. Segments cover a broad range of topics such as news and public affairs, arts and culture, history, science and more topics relating to our programming. These pieces can be used on public media dual licensees’ and independent public radio air, as well as on community and commercial radio.

If you have any questions or comments, please send a message to Leila Rao or Joanna Zwanger via PRX.org.
