  • Location: Cambridge, MA

From November 3-9 2003, public radio stations, producers and networks will put the health of democracy in America on the national agenda with radio programs, live events and web exchanges. This special week of coordinated coverage will explore what is working, what is broken and how we can strengthen our democracy.

Timed for the start of the presidential campaign and a few months before primaries, Whose Democracy Is It? will be relevant and newsworthy. The project will generate informed, critical discussions at a time when recent events have shaken many bedrock assumptions about our democracy.
