I really very much like the TMI series. The sources you find to interview are often awe-some.

But the penis graffiti piece I cannot take seriously. To start, I hardly consider a pen-scribbled outline of a penis graffiti (no art, no tags). Second, to ascribe higher meaning to these drawings I find absurd. It is a complete projection that boys draw penises on ads to protest the ads or commercialism overall. I've seen kids do them, clearly to impress and shock their friends, especially girls.The bulk of dick doodles, in my experience, are drawn on female images - and not just on ads but in school books, desks, photographs, etc. The world over you see these dingbats on ad billboards on train platforms - New York is not special.

Again, great show but this one left me rolling my eyes.
