This piece is a wonderful, sustained burst of sound!
A marching band crashes its way through the halls of an elementary school, but the band's brassy, sonic assault turns out to be no match for the waves of energy and excitement it elicits from the kids. The listener gets the sensation of being swarmed by a mob in the throes of a religious ecstasy. At one point the sheer wildness of the children actually inspires fear in one of the band members!
A memorable piece. A remarkable soundscape that lingers in the ears and mind long after the first listen.
