Anything by Billy Collins is fantastic radio. The poet has a great voice, so I was surprised how much I enjoyed this reading by an actor. Great poetry for people who think they don't like poetry.
I listened to this piece about 5 days ago and I keep thinking back about it and laughing to myself. It's one of those things that grew on me, I suppose; I think it had more longevity than immediate impact in my mind. I found myself telling people about it, and that's always a good sign.
If you've ever been to the Salem Witch Museum (is that what it's called?), you'll laugh out loud at the piece's description of the goofy automatons that represent figures from the witch trials.
