KRFC Fort Collins is a homegrown community radio station serving the needs of the northern Colorado region. We are members of the Grassroots Radio Coalition (GRC), High Country Community Radio Coalition (HCCRC) and National Federation of Community Broadcasters (NFCB). We are a public radio station, but not part of National Public Radio, Pacifica or any other network. KRFC provides a platform for the diverse northern Colorado community to share opinions and musical tastes. KRFC broadcasts mostly music, with some talk, community affairs, independent national news and local news. An eclectic music mix is broadcast throughout the day, liberally sprinkled with specialty programming. About half of the non-music programming is hosted by real people from northern Colorado, with other half from syndicated sources.
