Texas Folklife and Akins High School Austin premiered a new radio and podcast series, "See It Through My Eyes.”

Texas Folklife and Akins High School Austin premiered a new radio and podcast series, "See It Through My Eyes.” This series of audio documentaries about Texas artists and activism, civics, and Akins High traditions was produced in collaboration with Texas Folklife’s student and community documentary training program, Stories from Deep in the Heart, and with Akins High School Austin Corps senior class lead by Social Studies Teacher Linda O’Neal.

Stories from Deep in the Heart is the Texas Folklife award-winning youth and community radio program that teaches high school students and teachers how to document their family and community traditions through audio documentaries.
