Designed with the curious classical listener in mind, this award-winning 13-part, 1-hour radio series offers an invaluable look at what's new in American music.

"New Music from Bowling Green" features exclusive concert material from one of the premiere modern music festivals in the country, alongside in-depth profiles of some of our most important composers—including Grammy® and Pulitzer-winning composer Jennifer Higdon, who is a curator and occasional co-host of the program.

We also offer in-depth profiles of cutting edge groups including New Music Detroit, HUB New Music, Kinds of Kings collective, Latitude 49, Conspirare, Roomful of Teeth, Alarm Will Sound, and the New Music Ensemble at Grand Valley State University.

Other composers and performers featured include multi Grammy® Award-winner Michael Daugherty, Grawemeyer Awardee Andrew Norman, Bang on a Can All Stars founder Evan Ziporyn, “The Exploding Pianist” Kathleen Supové, Pulitzer winners David Lang and Kevin Puts; violinist and new music visionary Johnny Gandelsman, Bearthoven front man Karl Larson, and the highly-acclaimed Quince Contemporary Vocal Ensemble.
